PJ SORTER

AI photo culling built by a motorsport photographer, for photographers. It clears the obvious rejects, surfaces your strongest frames, and hands you a Lightroom recipe — so your time goes on the shots that earn it.

What It Is

CUT THE GRIND.
KEEP THE QUALITY.

A heavy race-day take can swallow an evening — sometimes the better part of a day — frame by near-identical frame. PJ Sorter doesn't pretend to make that vanish. It does the dull half: scores every photo on sharpness, framing and timing, sorts them into three honest tiers, and pulls your rejects out of sight. You stay in control of the keepers. This is a quality tool for a careful workflow, not a volume machine.

AI-Assisted Culling
Every frame scored on sharpness, framing and timing — so the best of a burst surfaces first and the throwaways drop out.
🏁
Three Honest Tiers
Portfolio, Keeper, Reject — fixed, consistent cutoffs. No vague star ratings to second-guess later.
🎨
Lightroom Recipe Export
Build a look once and export it as a real .xmp — preset or sidecar — to apply across your keeper set.
🔒
On-Device Culling
Your full-resolution files never leave your browser. Only downscaled measurements go to the cloud.
🎯
Pro Mode Masks
Per-region Subject and Background mask guidance baked into the export. Lightroom handles the detection.
📐
Built-in METER
An EV100 calculator and saved spots for your gear, so you nail exposure before the lights go green.
How It Works

FOUR STEPS.

01
Drop your shoot in
Load a folder. Full-res files stay on your machine — only measurements are sent up for scoring.
02
Every frame gets scored
Sharpness, framing and timing become one number per photo — the sharp frame in a burst stops hiding.
03
Sorted into three tiers
Portfolio, Keeper and Reject. The rejects leave your view so you only look at what's worth editing.
04
Export a Lightroom recipe
Build your look and export a .xmp to apply across the keeper set, then finish the edit your way.
Who It's For

TWO SHOOTERS. ONE TOOL.

New to the track

Build your eye faster

  • See why a frame scored high or low and learn what a keeper actually looks like
  • Stop drowning the first time you come home with a full card
  • Start from a sensible Lightroom recipe instead of a blank slider panel
  • Grow a portfolio of your genuinely best shots, not your most-fiddled ones
Working pro

Spend your hours on the keepers

  • Let the obvious rejects fall away so the cull stops eating your evening
  • Get a clean shortlist to start a client gallery from
  • One look, exported as .xmp, carried across the whole set
  • Deliver consistent quality without burning a full day on selection
